Thinking of Jan Kaplinsi

We almost met
But the cards weren’t right.
The soul had a problem
In both our lands.

The Savior
Much like a blue jay
Went about his business
High on a birch.

His blood was perfect.
Today I still want to weep
Not for you or me
But for land

Heart, summer.
O summer.
