Snowdrifts Cradling the House

–for Robert Bly

Time will say nothing but I told you so–

Yes & thank you Auden.

Time only knows the price we have to pay…

Snowdrifts say another thing

Like children lost among trees.

"How long have you been here?"

"I can’t remember my mother or father."

  1. It’s not that important!
All of us can use the art of our ideas and feelings with materials from anywhere.
Poets can take the material of spelling and either drive the
left brained people crazy or see the metaphors of this
    collapsing complexed planet.

  2. A fellow writer told me to hear Robert Bly “Snow Drifts….”
The complexity of sharing things on the computer makes it
stress- “fagetaboutit” as they say in Jersey.I’ll write a poem about the loss of sharing.
