First, Professor, you have a great voice.
Secondly, you are a real grown up, which is so refreshing in this day and age when grown ups seem to be so scarce!
Like Leslie above, I had to “pause” the interview and then I had to re-start! Worth it though, to hear what all you had to say.
I’ve always been of two minds about Oprah. I’ve enjoyed her show and I’ve gotten sick of it. Although? If Stevie Wonder ever wanted to pop out of the floor playing a baby grand piano while singing “Isn’t She Lovely” for me as he did for Oprah on Tuesday, I’d take it in a second!

My, my, MY! SK, how you’ve gotten as far as you have blatantly ignoring the rules of engagement, and instead authentically expressing your feelings and experiences — marveling at the nudity of great emperors and empresses alike, I will never in my whole life figure out! I had to painfully wade through all of the giggly, breathless reverence for Oprah (TWICE because 2/3rds through my first listening, feeling slightly queazy and craving more substantial intellectual nourishment, I reflexively clicked on another link, and had to re-start the program from the beginning!) When I finally heard your part of the interview, I truly expected more of the same giddy worship; it would be difficult not to play along with the game in progress. Instead I got a boatload of refreshing honesty. Yep, Oprah’s done a lot of good, but, yep, a lot of her program content is also fairly vacuous tabloid exploitation and/or consumerism pure and simple — the kind that the mesmerized masses have been programmed to crave. GACK! Dr. Phil with his just-stop-doing-that psychology? Double-GACK!!!
