Thinking of Pentti Saarikoski

Bringing in the wood, rain in the trees
No one at home, just books on the table
Dropped under the ground for a talk with Rabelais
The dead, some of them anyway
Still weep for the phenomenal world
Afterwards I thought I could sing
But the feeling passed

  1. Just love this breakthrough in taking up space. I only wish more woman could experience this kind of freedom from societal restrictions. It’s the 21st century after all, let’s live fully.
