The American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) has a “Justice for All” blog that examines civil rights from a disability perspective. Of course civil rights are for everyone and Lo and Behold, “everyone” belongs among people with disabilities at one time or another. A “disability” perspective on civil rights speaks to issues of race, gender and sexual orientation, aging, veterans affairs, medical care, education, economic life, even matters of family and leisure.
